Ms. Nikki
History
Nikki holds a BA in Psychology and BA in Communication from the University of Houston. She worked as a Lower Elementary guide, Upper Elementary guide, and Middle School founder/guide at Montessori schools in Houston, TX and Denver, CO. She received her AMS Elementary I/II and Secondary I/II teaching credentials (ages 6-18) from the Houston Montessori Center. She has served in various school administration roles including Director of Teaching and Learning at an 18-month-8th grade independent school.
Throughout her years as a Montessori guide and administrator, she has studied ABAR, identity, and intersectionality extensively, earning a Masters in Montessori education with a focus in supporting adolescents’ identity in the classroom. She is currently studying Montessori and social justice in a doctoral program at University of Wisconsin- River Falls.
